Dries unveils plans for Carbon - a commercial version of Drupal.

Spotted a blog post feed earlier on Planet Drupal from acquia.com (A new Drupal company setup by Dries) about a commercial distribution of Drupal called CARBON, which looks really interesting.

As I understand it, Carbon is like a 'Civicspace' for social publishing sites and applications. (Civicspace is a Drupal download or distribution tailored for political/civic projects)

Acquia plans to create a Drupal distribution based on the core Drupal 6 modules along with a few contributed modules, call it Carbon and charge companies money for support and I presume setup, installation, training etc. via subscription packages - More details about CARBON are available at the Acquia website.

It's a great idea and I was just wondering if anyone is working on a Drupal distribution for music? i.e. a band/artist distribution, complete with the ecommerce suite of modules, (CD/DVD/mp3 download shop), gig updates, mailing list, mobile content etc.
