Site developers: new module released to make your job easier.
I would like to announce the release of a new module called Active Template. Active Template is similar to ConTemplate with a few differences:
- It works on views (Both page and block)
- You can add custom JavaScript/jQuery and CSS directly into the editor
- Custom .js and .css files are managed automatically and injected where needed
- And you can have more than one template for each view and access them independently
Active Template was developed to leverage the power of views queries with the flexibility of custom defined templates. Active Template is useful for:
- View animations
- Adding extra features (buttons, tags, forms, etc) to a view
- highly altering view displays (on a per-view basis)
- and much more
Active Template is a developers module and requires at least a working knowledge of PHP (CSS and JavaScript/jQuery knowledge is optional - but it really helps).
If you can use ConTemplate, you can use Active Template.
You can visit the project page . We look forward to hearing what you have to say about this new module.
Best regards, Derek
